On the divine day of August 22, 2010 Maitreya and the Soul Searchers family laid foundation stone at Dharmakshetra, Keezhveeraanam in Vellore district, Tamil Nadu. This would not have been possible without the eternal grace and blessings of Maitreya, Lord Baal, Lord Pinakadrika and the eternal divine lineage.
A lovely poem penned by Maitreya on the divine place Keezhveeraanam explains the significance of this divine spot on earth.
The poem is as follows:
Iswarya charnebhyo asti iti lokah |
Paravyome purvam aagatam Keelveera lokah ||
Keelveera loke sarve dharma devam iv pratishtitah |
Atra asti veer jyoti sarva veera janmadatri ||
Keelveera loke sarve veerah devam iv pratishthitah |
Atra asti veer jyoti sarva dharma veeranam janmadatri||
Iti asti sva-roopam mahakaalaye devam cha |
Sarve dharma veeranam janmah atra vartate ||
Namami namastubhyam kaala veera mahakaala
adi naatha ishwaraye |
Tvam si sharnam adya aagatam ishwaraya ||
Maheshwara narayana sarva Ishwara sannidhi yesham tubhyam prakatam|
Sanasarasya palanaya srishti, Sthithi samharam tirodhanam anugraham tvamasi leela mahima ||
Dhanya asti sarve kalpe dharma veeram yesham tubhyam prakatam |
Dhanya tvamasi mahima tasyam mahima ||
Kaliyuge dharma veera avtaranam veeranganabhyam api bhavet |
Andhakaram vinashaya te agatam dharma veer jyotinam||
The meaning in English is:
At the lotus feet of Ishwara the world resides
Amidst the way of Keelveeranam.
In Keelveera, all lords of Dharma live like Gods
Origin is unknown yet all have roots in dharma veeranam
In the form of the timeless and spaceless Ishwara
All the forces of righteousness took birth here
I prostrate to thee a million times O Lord of time, force, timeless and space,
one born before the lords, Ishwara
We are surrendered at thy holy feet.
Maheshwara, Narayana and all divine gods are born from thee
For sustaining creation (shrishti), protection and maintenance (sthithi), destruction (samharam), truth hidden due to illusion (tirodhanam) and attaining shiva loka (anugraham) are thy play and grace
All those born in kalpa dharma veera are blessed
Thy karuna (compassion) and grace are immense
In period of darkness the army of righteousness happens/comes
Destroying darkness and bringing forth the light
Soon followed the first dig on the land for water. The most divine part about this is the fact that Maitreya knew the exact spot where the water can be found. Accordingly, we found the professional drillers and found pure, white, sweet water not very deep down in the heart of Mother Earth.
In the meantime, we met the villagers and were given all necessary support for queries and our search of best sources and resources required for building the grand divine vision. Keezhveeraanam village is small yet very verdant and serene. The residents are largely farmers and grow sugarcane, rice, groundnuts, pulses and other vegetable cash crops.
The village along with two other hamlets namely Soorikolam and Motur is supported by a Panchayat School catering to upto 5th standard. So it was natural for us to replicate Akshara Prakalpa here similar to what is happening in Bangalore and Chennai. The school has little more than 100 students and they are given free education, mid-day meals and school uniforms, by the law of the state. With the permission of the local administration, Akshara Prakalpa initiated ‘Learning With Fun’ sessions. In the last two months of its functioning, the children have been taught poems, flexibility exercises, focusing techniques and general fun activities.
Simultaneously, we began working on the foundation of a room to start with, in November 2010. This room basically fulfills the requirement of the local electricity board to get the electricity lines up and running. Even as the work was underway, it was time for us mortals to celebrate the festival of lights, Deepavali at Dharmakshetra with the divine playing around in the form of wind. In the evening of the festival, we were there ready to light earthen lamps and simple fire crackers. As the moonless night fell, the oil lamps burned beautifully despite the gusty wind and pushed the darkness away. We were joined by a group of 20 children from the village in lighting lamps. We told them how polluting fire crackers can be because of their smoke and noise. Later, we shared laddoos and milk pudding with them and saw them home reach safely too. We gifted each of them painted earthen lamps which they were thrilled to receive.
Within a fortnight, the room is ready and the first lamp was lit inside it. The divine lord blessed it by sending two shrikes to look around, check out the inside of the newly roofed room and sit around on the heaps of sand and pebbles on the land. The two birds are white and black in colour and make a funny movement with their tails every step they take.
While the building work goes on, we have been blessed with so many incidents, signs and marvels as presented by the divine Baal and Mahaprabhu. We indeed are fortunate and are grateful to Maitreya, Baal and Mahaprabhu for having allowed us to witness these divine happenings.
As days passed by, one cool afternoon, we became the family for a ewe who gave birth to a lamb on the divine land of Dharmakshetra. A life made is divine’s grace.
In the meantime, a few villagers have found ways to earn money by helping us build the grand vision. Ramesh (photo on left) is one such young man. Having lost a couple of contracts to build homes, he was bogged down and was looking for a way to feed his large family. It became all the more difficult for him to meet ends because his second son came into the world only 40 days ago. As we were busy supervising the construction work one afternoon, he came along with his herd of sheep on to Dharmakshetra and came up to us to strike a chat. Words rolled into chat and then we found that he was eager to be part of the work that is going on and the best part is he was open to work alongside the head mason, which, in any other circumstance, would have been considered losing status as a professional mason.
Every grand vision starts but with a single step…
We can only say we are blessed to be part of this beautiful once-in-a-lifetime divine opportunity.
Our obeisance to Maitreya, Baal and Mahaprabhu.
