We all wish “Happy New Year” on the first of every year but then time just flies… spaces and situations change and then we believe that the next year would be better than the one that just ended.  It all starts with the “Ah! A new beginning” feeling but by the end of the year, we are shouting silently “Gosh! Could it have been worse?”

This is neither the first nor the only time it is happening. Rather, this is a cycle which has eternally been repeating itself. The one who is closer to the self can understand and experience the bliss of being in oneness with the divinity surrounding us. One who loves sugar would find it bitter when suffering from malaria, similarly hope in future is like the sweetness of sugar but for knowing the sweetness it is important that we are healthy from within otherwise the hope in the beginning changes to bitter taste in the coming year. When hope is based on worldly and external desires then the bitterness becomes part of life.

For those who believe that divinity is within and all around, hope expands for them and transforms into reality because the expansion itself breaks hollow hopes based on hollow conditions.

Hope is not to look at an over-night transformation rather it is about taking one step closer to that which is close to heart and being part of it through thick and thin. Soon you would find another hope brewing up which shall take you one step further to gain much more than you imagined. For many, this may look like a small movement but in a day no one can measure the expanse of the cosmos, similarly our desires have the very expanse of cosmos but do not have the strength like it to hold on and be there. So take a step closer to yourself first, before assuming a long list of desires. Once you have come closer, you would find that the hope closer to heart has blossomed allowing you to climb to a hope that is further ahead. This hope too shall blossom and finally by the year end, you would have a collection of hopes that have already blossomed and your enthusiasm shall remain in the purest of spirit allowing you to welcome the new year with hopes that can allow you to climb higher and higher.

Give yourself the advantage to transform over a time and bring an expanse to your self that you too can witness, enjoy and be part of it. This nourishes future hopes too similarly.

Soul Searchers believes that great dreams are built not on hopes but a collection of small dreams, which, over a period of time, take shape of a gigantic vision. The great vision may look impossible to achieve yet it has been achieved within a short period of time only due to the hopes and dreams of like-minded, passionate, loving and joyful people.

Do we really know what or who we are following? All religions and the ways shown by the religious heads are completely lost and we are following a dangerous path because those who show the path are themselves searching for the path. Hence they try all sorts of ways and means to pass off the ancient knowledge repackaged in newer but half-baked versions.

Since the very foundation of the teaching is lost, what remains is fear, insecurity and strain showing on their faces resulting in the followers also losing control over themselves. Be it any religion the world is following, all of them have turned extremists due to fear of losing that which is already lost. All those who claim to reform the extremists are actually holding on to their own concepts and understanding which is based on the knowledge received through various means. This attracts little compassion but then violence takes a newer and stronger form that cannot be held back with conditions. The whole purpose of removing conditions using conditions as a tool  is a dangerous phenomenon, which has a tremendous debilitating effect on the human psyche in particular.

The world is in a dangerous scenario where it is hanging between two ends – one of extremism and another of tameness. Both have roots in timidity and fear. Both these conditions are nowhere related to the concept of religion rather extremism is a reaction to unavoidable circumstances that does not allow them to expand or grow with change in time and space.  This leads them to feel and also become victims in true sense, while those who are not able to muster strength to become violent remain the biggest sufferers holding on to concepts, understandings and ways which have died long ago. The resultant outcome is that we have a number of followers who are there either because of violence or because of their timidity. Such people are ever growing and their whole life is based on rules, traditions and scriptures while their true meaning and the direction shown by them is long lost.

Most of the people who try to show the path are also lost for in them spiritual uncertainty is supreme and their lack of spiritual experience and lack of divine wisdom fails all their claims. But when the true essence of spiritual bliss is known once, it spreads fragrance and brings in compassion within because it knows only to share… then generosity becomes the norm. Unfortunately, this is not easily accepted by the majority of people. Though they relish what is being shown to them and the experience of the divine they have yet they do not want to tread the path for fear of losing out on all that they consider precious. They have deep thirst but it has turned them blind thus they cannot see the ray of light that can change them, transform them and evolve them from the state of evolution to the state of evolved.

Incarnations, Messiahs and Masters have come with the truth and gone yet the transformation is delayed. It is for the simple fact that people are still searching for shortcuts and are possessively holding on to dead concepts and are reluctant to open their eyes to the light of Truth.

Traditions are made for man, man is not made for traditions. This is to be realised, understood and accepted. Traditions and norms hold the truth for the moment they were made. They corrode if the change does not happen in alignment with the rising internal aspirations of the evolution for the dynamism inside is ever changing and within this, the Divinity resides. The truth which was shown once is now lost… for the context is lost, way is lost and method is lost. Now it is time for a new way, a new path and a new context. Each moment each phenomenon is an offering as well as being the dance of HIS own manifestation, thus neither we nor you are different from each other… it is a world of friends where the truth remains supreme.

The Supreme Truth is not something which becomes a rule or a tradition. Only fractional truth becomes a dogma, ritual, tradition and condition. Supreme Truth is dynamic yet it remains constant. Its ways and means are incomprehensible, incalculable and cannot be bound by any tradition, norm and condition for it is flowing eternally in the infinite cosmic expanse yet is not a part of it. Supreme Truth manifests itself in formless forms and passes on the message for the benefit of the existing time and space as suitable.

There is a beautiful way rice was protected in the granaries in the olden days. The protectors of the granaries would cook rice every day and add various fragrant spices to it. This cooked rice would be kept out to feed the mice at the door. The mice could hardly ever resist the enticing fragrance of the rice.

Without realizing that they were falling for a trap, all the mice would feast on the cooked rice forgetting the huge fresh stock of rice in the granary which could sustain them for years. The trap would collect all the mice in one place allowing the guards to catch them easily and later kill them.

The granaries, here, represent the divine bliss and the guard is like the soul which waits outside the door. The cooked rice, like millions of worldly desires and pleasures, is presented on a platter with the sweetest of fragrances. The Manas (mind) and Sharira (body) move like the horde of mice enticed by the fragrance and even before reaching the door or knowing the soul, they fall into the trap of Maya (grand illusion) and die miserably.

Claws on the food, clenched fist

Cannot move a single inch

Hand deep within narrow bottle

Monkey mind unwilling to let go

Claws held by the desire and lust
Hunter’s net I see coming fast

Body moves from end to another

More the force more trapped am I

Suffering filling my body and mind

Fear, anger, frustration all written

Magnanimous was a life given to me

Freedom and energy to soar high

Every single moment was given

Yet became blind slave of desires

Losing the zeal and wings got clipped

Why me why me I keep asking

Why not why not I keep hearing

Past memories past grudges

All hold me back for it is not I

A blow is all I see on the elbow

Claws open up letting the desire go

I am released to be trapped forever

Why do you need to follow?

Waste the tears and suffer more

For whom do you cry and think

For them you do not exist or remain

Those who love shall never let you cry

Be humble be loving be caring

They might slap you spit on you

For they know this language only

Being nice and humble is thy nature

Tears for others prayers for others

Work in silence never look for answers

For none would answer your query

Search happiness in others

And you shall be all alone
Pained and suffering from within

Sit and be for that is you

Happiness within shall expand

Alone your expanse would equal sky

Happiness within is blissful
