The Art of being a Shishya

The Art of being a Shishya

The ancient sages and rishis prayed and meditated for years and lifetimes, into the cause of the world and life itself. As the life moved on the life transformed into meditation itself, within the meditation one was able to live newer lives and ways yet continued to work from the moment they had departed. The way of knowing the truth, the way of meeting a Guru, the method of connecting with a Divine spirit is not a workshop, programme; but a process, a process of going deep, within the self, the word in ancient times used was ‘Sadhana’. Sadhana is that which should be accomplished. If the sadhana in one life is incomplete or partial then even meeting a Master will become a rare phenomenon.

The sadhana is with the self, within the self to cleanse, purify and not to just ask questions or queries when and wherever one meets anyone but be ready to discard, unclothe and bare the spirit like a child, where the value of trust, surrender and acceptance is complete with the innocence and truthfulness of a child. This child once known is the Yogi one looks for, and the Yogi he finds, where being still one cannot bear to be out of the sight of Yogishvara. Only when the Yogi within awakens does one find a Yogishvara, only when a Shishya is born a Guru would be there. The search for a shishya is like that of Nandi waiting for Shiva, the moment Shiva appears, only Shiva is seen for Nandi does not move, it is then only Shiva who manifests within Nandi itself. The rider and the one ride both become one, inseparable. Nandi will have nothing more than Shiva to say, live and breathe while Shiva without Nandi remains silent, neutral and in deep penance, waiting for the Nandi to appear.Shiva never physically rode Nandi for how can one ride on himself. They become the light for the world to see, know, realize and evolve.

“When alpa (minute)things give you pleasure for so many lifetimes that you are closely attached to it, imagine ananth(infinite) bliss once known what it can provide.
Ananth dhyan touches body to mind and pierces through mind into the realm of subtle consciousness where you remain and the eternal bliss remains. One need not hold on to experience but one needs to be ready for being there for it expands everything within you that you sought.”

Purna Darshan of Divine – July 25, 1996

On the holy day of 25-07-1996, His Holiness Maitreya Rudrabhayananda ji gained purna darshan of Divine at Nilkantha Mountain near Badrinath temple.

His Holiness Maitreya Rudrabhayananda ji ” The only thing I remembered it was after initiation in ‘Isā vid’, I had this query in mind about it and then everything changed. I knew Baba as He had given darshan was something embedded within me, the conditioned mind. The true form of Him was something I was seeking in my heart. That was the first time I had seen Baba (Divine) in that form, second happened at Prayag.

As the most blessed child in the world I sat on HIS lap and I could sense I was not part of this world, the world had vanished, nothing of the Nilkantha Parvat I could see, only a silence, not even silence but shunyata no not emptiness, but Shūnyātā, something dynamic was there yet it was not something I can ever explain or talk about. I could sense nothing, nothing at all. There was complete darkness but I could see, sense and feel in this state of pure Shūnyātā. I was completely aware of everything but there was nothing to be aware of, for everything was nothing and nothingness cannot be explained, experienced or even lived.

Something was happening within me I knew but I could not sense it for it was known to me but I could not put my finger on it. I looked down and there was nothing, I was nowhere, but I could sense Baba but could not see HIM. All the forms and names of Baba, I had heard, read flowed through my mind and in that state of nothing I was trying to look for them but nothing was there, I heard very low whispers of chants but they too vanished into the nothingness, pure darkness was all that existed.

I was feeling lost. I wanted to close my eyes, and senses so that I could pray to HIM but nothing moved except silence. A completely different state truly it was something I had never read, heard, imagined, thought or even dreamt. I was in empty and void space of darkness yet I was alive, breathing I believe, not sure ….(Gurudev laughed). I wanted to called out Aghor Baba Pinakadrika ji but something stopped me, only Baba came out. There in that state I heard for the first time the name of Divine, Mekaál. The name ‘Mekaál‘ continuously echoed in that silence or maybe it was happening within me.

There I saw a hand moving touching me and saying ‘Isā’ and covering my eyes. It was out of nowhere that something so bright, so dazzling so powerful swept through me, I could sense that my whole body was being pierced through with light and heat, I survived maybe by grace of Baba (Divine), but then how else would I have been here…. (Gurudev laughed and then continued).

I could sense a laughter but nothing in my mind or body was functioning right, I was trying to cover my eyes, even though my eyes were covered by Baba (Divine) but the intensity was so severe that it was hurting by whole essence. Suddenly everything calmed down and I heard sound of Baba (Divine) ‘Rudra’ with the hand touching top of my head.
I was able to open eyes it was quite calm and silent and in front I saw, it was like a cosmic creation, a happening moment, the expanse of Divine Almighty was beyond any explanation. I was seeing the formless form of the Divine expanding through the wide expanse of the universe wherein infinite universe were emerged Dimensions of nothingness and merging back into nothingness, everything my limited understanding knew could never ever explain the truth I was seeing in front of me. I could sense HIM, I could see HIM, I could feel HIS touch, but it was not possible to explain how but HE was watching me and I was watching HIM and I also saw myself in it. I was there and I know, it ended.”

After the Divine event Gurudev stayed there for a day in complete trance. Another Divine event occurred at Rudraprayag on 21-September-1996 wherein Divine grace of the Eternal Spark was bestowed to Gurudev.

AYURVEDIC TEA FOR KAPHA DOSHA

AYURVEDIC TEA FOR KAPHA DOSHA

Take equal measures of ginger, black pepper, cinnamon, cloves and cardamom. Pound them all together. Do not sieve the powder. When making your tea, you can add about a ¼ teaspoon of this masala per cup just after the water starts boiling. You can add sugar and milk later. This is an ayurvedic tea which will not cause Kapha and is also a good remedy for sore throat and also this tea opens up the voice in volume and altogether increases the vigour in the body.

Isa Kaynak Vid July 24, 1996

Today is an auspicious moment for the whole of humanity.

Read, re-read, savour, share and gain blessings

We offer our pranam to our beloved Master His Holiness Shri Maitreya Rudrabhayananda ji

On this holy day in 1996, His Holiness Maitreya Rudrabhayananda ji gained darshan of Divine in the form of Aghora on the Nilkantha Mountain near Badrinath temple. The complete science of ‘Isā kaynak vid’ or ‘Mahashunya Kriya’ was revealed on this day. Gurudev had began teaching about this science from the knowledge gained from Parameshti-guru Ashiri Prajnaparamita Aghor Pinakin ji from April 2, 1996, but the true and complete revelation happened on this day. The purna Darshan happened on 25-07-1996, will try to cover that event too.

Since Parameshti-guru Ashiri Prajnaparamita Aghor Pinakin ji was also with Gurudev, the name that came out was Aghor Baba Pinakadrika ji. There has been always a problem for Gurudev calls Parameshti-guru Ashiri Prajnaparamita Aghor Pinakin ji and Divine both as Baba, so I have added the names of Guru’s in bracket for readers benefit, forgive me for this editing.
His Holiness Maitreya Rudrabhayananda ji “The Divine Lord Emerged on the Nilkantha Mountain top and in a flash the whole mountain transformed into Baba. The whole ground was shaking, and there was Baba (divine), it was impossible, difficult for me to see the face, the tip of the toe was the only thing I was able to see. I stood there in silence but my heart was beating very hard, my intense desire was to gain the darshan of Baba, a darshan for which people take thousands of janma’s but still are not able to gain it. I looked at Baba (Parameshti-guru Ashiri Prajnaparamita Aghor Pinakin ji) he was smiling, and then asked me to come close. He said something,I looked at Baba as if Baba knew it was something I truly desired. I touched the feet of Baba(Divine) and sat down. I was seeing Baba (Parameshti-guru Ashiri Prajnaparamita Aghor Pinakin ji), closed my eyes. I could smell the fragrance of many flowers, there was sense of complete silence around, it was completely empty. There in that very moment, I could feel the touch of hand above my head. I was over joyed and just opened my eyes, Baba (Divine) was sitting on rock I was sitting, and I was like a child sitting in His lap. His right feet touching the ground while the left supporting me, sitting and smiling. No words, nothing can I say to describe the beauty of Baba. He had long flowing hair, beard and the whole place was covered in golden hue, including the body of Baba. Except His throat where it was bluish hue. It was on this Holy Seat of Eternal and Infinite that Baba (Divine) revealed to me the knowledge of ‘Isā kaynak vid’, the original science of Consciousness. I was only listening and working on the ways as shown by Baba (Divine) and then I was given initiation in ‘Isā vid’ the ‘Light of Isā’ the primordial light. Baba then gave me a rasadhara sthamba and a spathika sthamba. Since Baba(Parameshti-guru Ashiri Prajnaparamita Aghor Pinakin ji) had showed me the way to see Baba (Divine), I could only call Baba as Aghor Baba Pinakadrika ji.’ It was Param Pujya ParamGuru Swami Chidananda Bharati ji who called the Divine Lord as ‘Mahababa ji’.
